Venison Taco Soup
Ingredients
- 1 lb ground venison, beef or turkey
- 1 small chopped onion
- 1 green pepper, chopped
- 15 oz can tomato sauce
- 28 oz can chopped tomatoes, undrained
- 1 can whole kernel corn, undrained
- 4 oz chopped green chiles
- 1 1/2 cups of water
- 1 pkg taco seasoning
- 1 pkg Ranch dressing mix (I like Hidden Valley Spicy Ranch)
Instructions
- Brown the meat, onion and green peppers; drain
- Combine all ingredients and simmer for 30 minutes on low, covered
- Serve with shredded cheese and tortilla strips (optional)
- Enjoy!
